Quali-T-Doc was founded in 2002 by Dr. Simon Cats, a highly experienced General Practitioner who recognized an equal need for high quality care outside of the National Health Service as there was in his own NHS Practice.

All doctors working with Quali-T-Doc Ltd have also worked within the NHS and are therefore registered with all the appropriate authorities and professional bodies. This guarantees a constant and high quality service from well qualified and regulated doctors.

Furthermore Quali-T-Doc Ltd is registered by the Care Quality Commission under registration number: 0000062004.

The Care Quality Commission is the independent watchdog for healthcare in England.

About our Managing Director - Dr. Simon Cats MB BS.

Private General Practitioner

Dr. Simon Cats qualified from Leiden University, The Netherlands, in 1986.

Dr. Cats came to the United Kingdom in 1990 and acquired experience in NHS Hospitals in General Surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Ear/Nose/Throat Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He also worked for 5 years as a Forensic Medical Examiner (Police Surgeon) for Hertfordshire Constabulary alongside his NHS work.

Dr. Cats did his General Practice training at the Northwick Park Hospital Vocational Training Scheme in 1994. He worked as a single handed NHS Principal General Practitioner in Bushey Heath until his resignation from the NHS in October 2005.

Since leaving the NHS, Dr. Cats has worked as a Private General
Practitioner in a large private practice in Stanmore and in a private clinic in Wimpole Street.

Dr. Cats is fluent in English, Dutch, German and French .
